3M knife-less tape

Came across this one. Has anyone tried this?
If it works like what the video showed, it will save me a lot of time applying trim colors. I just need to spray the base color and then apply the trim and decal then clear over the whole thing.

The first time I heard about this product was when a buddy of mine who works in a vinyl/sign printer shop used it to stripe my thunderboat. It's a fantastic tool

Is the white trim the knife-less tape? It looks great. Crisp edges.
Did your friend apply the letterings using the knife-less technique as well? Like weeding out the white to expose the red letters?

The stripes and panels were all cut and edged with knifeless tape, the letters were cut from red vinyl and laid on top of the pearl white.
