Hello racers in IMPBA D4, (and other districts) interested in racing 1/8th scale (nitro) or gas Scale, please use the attached PDF file below to register your scale for the 2021 season.
Registration is required for winning the High Points Trophy for Unlimited Hydroplane. The winning of this trophy started in 1975 with Gary Preusse. Both Gary's son David and Grandson Davey have also won many season high points. All are welcome to try to get your name on this Historic Trophy of the IMPBA.
Please complete and return the form and plan on racing. Winning is all that is needed to have your name engraved in history. Please note that the registration fee is again waived this year.
All races in D4 (including St Louis Thunderboaters Midwest Scale Classic races will be counted as D4 Scale Points races. All Racers are welcome to register to race the High Points Series as well (Any District).
Double Scale Points will be the Riptides Kenny Stang Regatta on July 24th and 25th. Usually this race runs 4-5 rounds and a lot of points can be captured at this race towards the season high points trophy.
Depending on what races actually happen there will be either one or two "throw out" races for ALL racers - Races where points do not count for racer. (life happens)
