My father blew out a front sponson on his Super 60 Crapshooter at a Mini Gold Cup one year. Tim handed my dad his own back up sponsons. After that race Tim said to my dad - "You keep 'em, they work well on your boat" Never charged my dad. Tim was always giving back to the hobby. Great promoter.

Back in the day the Wolverine club had the elite. Bridge Ries & Walker. Tom Daniels, and later Buck Scofield. And believe me the current Michigan racers are no slouch either. Oh did I mention Lew Metettal? And even back then some guy named Beardslee :)
