Hello Mario, Are the wholes for mounting the pipe in the tube? Look, that are wholes are drilled before you seal the parts. My slingshot is now covered with clear coat and ready for assembling. René

Hello Mario I had the same problem. I take a heat gun a warm up the cowl carefully. Then mounting on the hull and let it cool down.

Hi, I purchased my TigerKing GP Motor from RiRo Racing in Germany. Dave Marles sells this engine also. (Tiger King MARINE ENGINE TK GP27 and SPARE PARTS)

I used a aluminium t-profil 60x60x4 mm

The motor with the selfmade mounts is alligned. The mounts are rough cut until now. Now i can shape the mounts. The left side is done. The ignition coil gets her place too.

Today I had time to test the motor position. I made a motor mount from scrap wood. I had to cut out the tube side for the carburetor. Now is all aligned and I can make the motor mount from aluminum.

So the last sheet is on the sponson. I used toothpicks to hold the sheet in place. After the epoxy is cured, i trimed the picks und sand it flush. Now i glue the ridepads in place. The next step is the installation of the engine with the existing mounting holes.

I build at this time a CT17 with an CMB27Evo. It´s a big engine, but it fits perfectly.
