What’s everyone’s choice for a circuit mono these days? I’ve got a tuned 35 zen to put in a hull and considering what to get. I’ve already got five Seaducers so considering something from another manufacturer. Love the look of the Assault 48, also like the ML boat but Mike won’t ship to the UK

Would that be a 20-50?

A fellow club member has an enormous hydro with a RCMK K30 side exhaust. Boat is an unknown picklefork hydro at 54” We’ve tried a few different props on it but all mine are for monos, so what ABC hydro prop would people recommend trying?

A box stock CMB is considerably higher revving than a tuned zen. They tend to turn smaller props than something like a TK but at much higher speeds

The main one being that the 1914 is a good amount faster, the engine is under a lot less load on the ABC prop. I also had good results with a 646/3, which was on my boat for a good period of time

I’ve done extensive testing on 45 mono props on low nitro in the UK and found the 450/3 to be great, but the prop I stuck with was an ABC 1914 15-60, it’s leagues ahead

I’ve removed shaft tubes in the past by heating the outside section of the tube with a heat gun, being careful to aim it away from the hull. When it gets properly hot it can be pulled out with pliers or similar
