Valdosta F/E SAWS "a thread which was started about something that does not relate (anymore) at all"
FTR the Valdosta record time trials is an [on-going] bi-annual event that happens to draw more folks on a regular...
good job hijacking this thread gentlemen...
you want a 12, 14, 16, 18, any Open SAWS class in NAMBA SOCAL?
write a rules proposal and get it passed...
now start a new thread please so this one [Valdosta, F/E SAWS] can remain on topic...
WRG
this thread is a [iMPBA] Valdosta FE SAWS thread...
how this turned into a NAMBA rules discussion i'm not sure...
but could you folks start a new thread if you want to carry on with this topic please...
Thanks,
Ron
"Capital One" had carbon fiber in the lay-up [hull and deck] and it broke anyway...
90 mph crashes of 14 to 18 lb. mono's is gonna break something... i speak from experience :)
i will SAW with standard lay-up hulls in the future...
enough money goes into motors, esc's, batteries, etc.
why...
not unless exotic means... a standard lay-up SD3 Nitro 42 mono in burnt orange and black :)
the only deviation from std. will be the stringer placement...
weight is no longer an issue with todays electric power options...
