I've decided to add a gas cat to my fleet. Had plans printed to 48" scale and plan to run a Zen 26 stock in it. One change I made in the plans is eliminated the 14° slant of the transom to a conventional 90⁰, for simplicity of ready available hardware. A couple of pics of progress.

Yesterday I flipped my 1/8 shovel nose for the first time ever. Once I got it back and tried to expel the water out of the engine, it wouldn't turn. When I took the engine apart I noticed the con rod was bent. Does this happen often? What caused it to bend...sudden hydrolock? Vince
