You know that sounds like the problem. I used just enough epoxy and had very little smush out from between the pieces I had glued together. Thought I was doing myself a favor by using as little as possible. I wonder if I can’t just lay a bead down to reinforce my joints?

Is G-flex epoxy resilient to moisture? I have a wood kit that was framed up last summer and everything was strong then but, now the frames and stringers are “popping” apart from each other. The kit was kept in my un heated garage over the winter so I’m assuming it’s moisture related.

That was pretty cool. I didn’t expect that to happen right in front of me. I’m hoping that didn’t tear anyone’s boat up too much.

Who’s 8th scale road up on another boat like the Elam did to the Bud? I seen it happen and was wishing I had a camera.

Can someone explain the stability gain by having the strut hang off the back of the transom? I’m not quite understanding that.

I’m thinking I want to mount the strut under the boat. What are the pros and cons? Also I’m interested in the blazer marine fin.
