I didn't feel the little bit of extra length would really make that much of a difference

I never measured the length of it I just installed it where it said I guess I could cut it to the length it shows in the instructions

I use fantom Marine series 900 life packs, usually after a day of racing I recharge it and it only takes about 150 milliamps to recharge it so I know 900 would be enough to go a full weekend of racing

It's a sea deucer 21 rudder mounted per the instructions Hopefully I can run it again this coming week end with the changes I've made if that's still not enough angle and raising it high enough I'll have to make the hole a little bigger so I can raise it higher it's about at its limit right now...

Life packs are proven safe, have excellent storage capability and work great at 6.6 volts can be used with most any receiver and servo

I use the spectrum dx4r pro for years in both never had an issue even getting the receiver wet or dunked a few times and they still work fine never a problem the old original spectrums had issues on water but since they come out the dsmr systems they have been flawless on water

The antennas were just inside the radio box but when you get a solid red light and a dead receiver it ain't working even after a week later on the countertop I tried powering the receiver up and just a red light servos were dead
