Sorry I dont have better pictures but we (Big B, Ben K and Myself) are building new sport 20s.

The hulls are Super Sport 20s by Phil Thomas.
Right now they will all be CMB powered and Futaba Guided.
Pipes unknown.. we will start with Zip Pipes.

We started about a month ago and spent one evening a week (2 hours) and see what we can get done. What makes this tricky is we are doing the builds at my house but all the gluing is happening at Big Bs.

We have made 3D printed TPU
Custom fuel tank mounts
Custom Servo and switch mounts

We have machined from G-10
Custom Motor mount plate as well as custom stuffing tube support

We have machined or cut from Aluminum
Custom Motor mounts
Turn fin mount
Turn fin from 7075 (the fin is a scaled down version of my Sport 40 fin. (we rolled the fin)

We have a bit more to go and will try to get some updates for you guys as we build.

P.S. Thanks Phil for designing such a nice boat!

we did not get any work done last wed. We did plan for some upcoming gluing.. so thats good.

I will not be able to work on the boats for the next two weeks. BUT.. as soon as that clears its back to work!

All the holes are in the boats and all the epoxy work is done (thanks Big B for that)..

Air inlet is via NACA duct 3D printed in ABS..

The boats are "just about" ready for paint work..

SHINNYTOP!.. grow hair.. he cant.. build fast boat.. he can... the new boats are going to be so nice.. (we are fully expecting to be "competitive")

The stuffing tube support is fully adjustable.. it gets glued to the hull in the neutral position.. then adjusts up/down and left/right as needed for any final tweaking.. Designed in AutoCAD, cut on my MicroProto (Taig) CNC

Here is the turn fin and bracket. I personally don't care about the weight here. If I can feel the bracket flex in operation It drives me nuts.. So this one is 6061 1/4 inch thick.. the fin is a scaled down version of my Sport 40 fin.. (she WILL STAY in lane one when needed!)
