90 Hydro with Picco XP

A friend who is now elderly gave me a gift 90 hydro personal manufacture, restoration of the engine with change all bearings and conrod needles, I reinforced engine compartment with carbon, made a greaser for flex and add a needle trim change the servos place and make the new linkages and new 2017 aluminum fin 3mm thick, first tests with octura 1467 propeller but propeller too small, the boat lacks speed but reacts very well, next test with octura 1667

Yeah, that beast should pull a stock 1667 with ease,,, start cupping it up a little at a time..

Gilbert,

An ABC 2717 or 2719 would be two others you should try.
You will need to cup up a 1667 or open up the leading edge
a little bit more for a decent load on that motor. A stock 1667
only has 4.74” of trailing edge cup in it out of the bag. Nice
motor.

i use a fuel with only 16% nitro (européen restrictions) my friend also gave me a gift similar twin with 2 picco p90, I restored the engines with a good cleaning and only the change conrod needles, I would do the restoration and modification of the boat later

Hello Petr,
yes Michel is 84 years old and his physical condition does not allow him to practice the rc boat, he has sold or given away all his boats
