Brad, Look at the big picture. Prosecuting the past isn't going to do anything. Look at proposed reparations. If people that can initiate change are drowned out with their ideas then there are no real changes coming. We NEED CHANGE and don't silence new or proper change by rehashing old inproprieties. It's time to institute a new path to change. I appreciate what you are saying BUT you are biting on the progressive idea that " keeping the anger and polarizing news cycle will keep everything the way it is". Good voices are just not being heard because the narrative of the day is just too loud. Nobody wants change and saneness more than me. Our policies were great and should be brought back but will never happen if this tic for tac continues. Please don't be blinded by revenge. Let's allow NEW voices be heard. Yes, the Trump policies were great but you need nonpolarization to REALLY carry the day.

And I would agree with you completely Tom. The problem is that our government is compromised and has a problem when it comes to standing up to countries like China. When I look at the government, I see:
  • a Senator married to a Chinese national
  • a Senator with a Chinese national chauffeur for over 20 years
  • a Representative that previously "dated" a known Chinese spy
  • a "President" that is bought and paid for through his family's dealings with companies controlled by the CCP, Russian "officials" and Ukrainian "businesses"
Just to be clear, I'm not saying the Senators are facilitating "spying". What I am saying is that their relationships could be affecting the way they are doing their jobs.
Rodney, while I agree that term limits can be a good idea, when used to get what I would call "corrupt" people out of the government, they are not so good when you have a good, honest person that has to leave office due to time served. Obviously, Joe Biden has "overstayed his welcome" when you look at his lack of accomplishments and the level of corruption over a 45+ year career.

Then maybe the Left should stop the division and polarization. It all started with the Left.

It sounds great to say "we need to work together" until you realize "working together" means giving in. Again. For the hundred and eleventieth time. And then the Left obstructs everything, even that which they had supported and even campaigned on previously, because they lost the general. Then, when they win, it's "Republicans are holding the voters hostage." It's only "working together" when the Left is getting what they want. When they're not, they burn our cities. Then blame us.

I'm done capitulating. Just farqing done. We've given and given and given and given. I'm done. The Left has lurched so far to the Left that moderates are considered conservative and moderate Right seems radical. Not. One. More. Inch.

Who's calling for revenge? We aren't the ones that have been on the offensive for the last seven years. "We didn't start the fire."

I'm done also. We are all going thru this pain. Fighting with each other isn't the answer especially if we agree. We are all passed off and angry and the way we have been doing things and searching for change isn't working. Let's look for the chameleon that can get us thru the door and end all the madness. We are all in this asylum and need to get loose. We need different actors with the same goals we are searching for. We can be strong and fight the existing system as long if we can find different players that aren't this polarizing. Yes, I voted for him twice but he is too volatile and we won't get through this because we realize the system is fixed and we need someone to fix what he started. We deserve to MAGA.

This is my problem with those who suggest "anybody other than Trump" for the RNC nod. It doesn't matter who it is. They will be the same misogynistic, racist xenophobe that Trump wasn't until he ran for office. I have a couple friends who are Libertarians, "with a big 'L'", that keep yammering on about Gary Johnson and Jo Jorgenson. As if the Left won't do the same thing to them they did to Trump. Especially when we have people validating their tactics by suggesting "Why can't we just all get along".

It's time to wake up to the reality that any of these career politicians who have an 'R' or 'D' suffixed to their name have nothing other than swamp genetics.

The US was founded on capitalistic principles. Thus said, this nation needs to be run by people with high level business accumen. Not lawyerly, bottom feeding two faced criminals.
Whatever one lawyer constructs, there's always one around the corner who can deconstruct.

Aside from my being a dyed-in-the-wool agnostic, I can't say I disagree with much, if any, of this. But....

When we look at the usual turnout, and the fact that the alternatives to the R/D options garner a combined <5% of the populous vote, we're stuck with one of them or the other. Just the same as with my objection to term limits because of the direct obstruction of the democratic process they represent, I can't support denying anybody permission to toss their hat in the ring because they associate with one of the two major politicap parties. Afterall, it's been US, We the People, that have cemented these two parties in their positions. And, if I have to choose, it's gonna take me about...... that long to make that decision.

And that is part of the problem. Many feel that Joe is great and can be trusted when, as shown in the three videos I posted yesterday, the truth is he can't be trusted. It's really too bad that the "Biden Crime Family" is just that, a "crime family". Seems to me that the mainstream media and Democratic Party needs to stop protecting them and let the Justice Department actually do it's job in their case
