HI , The item has been received and is complete , but there is a problem , The connection between the exhaust port and the lower boby does not match , This can cause exhaust leaks , Yes rejected some parts .

the adapter is there, sometimes there's a gap, I've seen where people put a small amount of high temp silicone, here's a new in box, less gap, but still a gap.

Shim the crack
In your picture the back of the engine pto looks to have a gap also. I wonder if something is hitting under the pto backplate not allowing the engine to come together with the lower unit. try pulling the flex shaft out and see if it goes together tight.

There is a gap in the exhaust , and there is no problem with the rear connection

I believe there is a gasket sitting on the pto as well, that can be peeled off.
Also make sure you get the pto completely and correct into the crankcasing when thightening up.
Still, as mentioned above, there is often gap to be seen here. You may cut some gasket material and shim out the exh adapter ring.
There is not missing parts.

I have had this same issue with 7.5 , 67,& 82
Not sure why but with the gap it will not run correctly, issues with pressure port to tank and loud as crap.
I suggest a garloc gasket material thick enough to apply pressure and not leak.
Just a thought
