Received this nitro motor for payment of funds owed Don’t know exactly what it is. Can anyone help? The glow plug will not tighten up. I’ve been told it’s an easy fix is that the case?
Thanks in advance
Chuck

It’s bigger than a 45 could be a 90 or something around that size.
so K is the name?
I will get a hold of Mr. Hobbs. Thank you…

Is the head button spinning? Hence the glow plug does not tighten up. You can put a head shim up in the water jacket to hold down tighter on head button. I have done that to a K90 in the past. I think I used a 21 head shim.

It is a K67 or K82. Look at the mount lugs, if it is marked 82, it is a K82. If it is not marked, it is a K67.

It's junk.... need to box it up and ship it to me for disposal.... 😀

Actually,, they are very good motors,
may be a little hard to find parts for, but
are good runners!

If it's a 67/82 K engine, it's probably an original Kalistratov piece. I don't think Frank ran those models when he picked up the K brand. Not absolutely sure, though.

They don't run the 11cc and 13cc engines in Europe now.

Al Hobbs knows all the intricacies on the matter.
