I will be making a road trip from Atlanta to Dallas with a stop over in Jackson or Vicksburg MS starting tomorrow.
Will be driving a straight shot on I-20 west.

Anyone along this route that has gallons of fuel for sale, please let me know.
Looking for 3-4 gallons of 40 or 50% ...
Trying to avoid shipping hassles and costs!

Thanks!!
Frank

I think you could order from VP and pick up near Fort Worth, TX

I live in Dallas.... I have been in touch with the regional rep from VP ... I'm trying to buy their 50/50 nitro methanol blend to make my own fuel. But VP can't tell me when they are going to restock it. And the shipping is outrageous,, like 220 bucks to ship a single 5 gallon bucket... so I was willing to drive from Dallas to San Antonio to pick up a few buckets... but even the warehouse is out of stock...

Gee, I might be in your area this summer. Wife and I are looking at a road trip to the Gulf coast and might be stopping in Arlington to visit friends along the way. Prior to getting into the DFW area, we're looking at a stop at "The Big Texan" in Amarillo so I can try "The 72 Ounce Challenge". I already know I'll never make it through the whole meal and don't plan on making myself sick trying to force it down. I do like the idea of leftover steak for 4-6 days though

Try John Otto he can mix what ever you what.He ships in quart bottle.
Yeah, I emailed John the other day, and need to call him...kinda saving this as a last resort.

Shipping of quarts seems excessively dumb to me, but I get it with today's shipping rules...it's a waste of a lot of raw materials...
(No disrespect John... it just is what it is and i know it can't be helped.)

I did get a bit of "good news"! ...I received an email from the regional VP rep, and they have the 50/50 blend back in the warehouse..
So, it looks like a road trip to San Antonio next week is in my plans!!

Do yourself and your wallet a favor. Take a selfie with your wife in front of the "Big Texan" sign as you walk over to Whataburger. Its so much better!

Hyperfuels in Houston has the fuel your looking for also,

Okay guys, you have to remember, IT'S A TOURIST STOP!!!!
If I want to have a really good steak, there's the Lonestar, Texas Roadhouse or, if I wan't to stay close to home, The Scuttlebutt Brewery and Restaurant. Haven't been to a Lonestar in years, TR was last July, after the Saturday H-1 racing was over and, as for the Scuttlebutt, that was last Saturday evening ;)
