I'm doing well Bill, like a lot of us, too many projects on the go, finishing some 1/10 car builds off at the moment (one of my other hobbies) , then will go back to finishing some of my riggers like the tripple and the twin gas I've got on the go
hope you are doing well too mate

I just noticed this new kit on Joes website last weekend. The description mentioned a new sponson design? Also saw a new turnfin offered for this model. Have you noticed what changes were made to the sponsons or turnfin compared to other JAE models? Just curious if you have any input, thanks for sharing your build!!

Bill, I wasn't trying to steal your thread. Just throwing in a picture following the JJ post. I think that it is great that you do a build showing the process of doing so. Thanks for sharing. Please continue to do so.

It’s the first electric model with TD mod ( 4 step ), dihedral bottoms, new turn fin mounting for new fin design, Exact fit pieces for less sanding.

No problem at all ol buddy! Never took it that way! Im glad you both posted pics of your boats!

So I got some more work done on it today! Trimmed and fit the cowling/cover to the tub.....building the ski.....and finishing up the sponsons! What a great building boat kit! Everything fits so nice! Ive been filling and block sanding the tub with my standard 3 hour laminating epoxy with a small amount of fumed silica to thicken the epoxy up just a bit! The new fin has a very pronounced 90 degree bend at the bottom of the fin and the fin has been nicely SHARPENED!
