Went to a really nice WACO airplane museum. A lot of really nice antique airplanes. It was worth the visit.
I went to the WACO Museum in June of 2012 with two of my brothers. We flew into the grass strip right next to the museum in my younger brother's 1938 Waco EGC-8 biplane. It was the first time his airplane had been there since it last flew from there in 1939. A few days earlier we had flown up to Mt. Vernon, Ohio ( just north of Columbus ) from Zachary, Louisiana for the annual Waco aircraft Fly-In. My brother David had just completed an 18 year restoration on his Waco and my older brother Tom and I joined David at the fly-in that week. The Waco aircraft factory ( where the aircraft were actually built ) was not far from where the museum is at. It was a fun week spending time with my brothers and getting to fly in David's Waco.
