Well folks, had the opportunity to look at both engines side by side.
The piston and sleeve from both are interchangeable.
The porting is a bit different, I did NOT break out a degree wheel to check timing numbers but a side by side comparison tells me they are the same.
The heads are different. The EVO has what looks like a smaller volume.
The bottom end of the rod on the EVO is larger both in diameter and thickness. It will need material removed to fit into the case groove of the RSV07.
I have done this already on one engine.
