We have postponed our Sept. 24, 25th event due to weeds at the site, we're hoping the colder weather will kill them off, check here for updates.

All IMPBA classes for SAW and 1/3rd Oval, 8am-dark. Come and go any time, flat $25 to register, run as often as time permits.

We will cancel and go to the backup date by 6pm on Thursday, Oct. 6th if the weather looks questionable. Check here for updates.

Some kayakers from U of M were there on Saturday mostly behind the island to the south end. "Coontail" is the problem this year (lily pads we can deal with) and are alive and well back there so I'd imagine they'd still be a problem where we run.

Dave Murany might take another run by there this week but I doubt it'll be OK for the 15/16th, maybe by the end of the month they'll die off.

Anyone know if Coontail goes away at a certain water temp?

I'd go ahead and cancel them, long range weather isn't good either...

That "bad" pic is behind the island, last one is where we run. If you blow up the last pick you can just see the little stems of it in between the lily pads.
