Is this going on a 1/8th scale? RC Boat Company would be your source.
1/6th gas scale? Phil Thomas, Phil Thomas Hydros.
May also be able to get from Brian Baus(sp) think he has the Velasco hull molds Brian on here as " snowman" I think

Ops. It is going on a Sport 40. Many years ago ago I built a Dave Franks Sport 40 and would like a fiberglass cowl. I also had a Fiberglass Sport 40 the had that same cowl on it. I can make it fit my Spot 40.

I'd be willing to bet what you had was a Steve Muck sport-40,
Years ago he made a 20 & 40 with similar cowls, they were closer in style to the 79-80 Circus Circus cowl

No, it’s not a Steve muck, it’s a Dave Frank. The man just said in this post it’s a Dave Frank. And the pic shows that.
Alxe, I don’t know where to get that exact cowl. But if you can’t find one I guarantee you that with a little modification of the Phil Thomas cowel it will fit very well. Since Phil Thomas Sport 40’s were based on Dave Frank hulls.
You will have to modify the front flat part of the cowel but other than that the rest fits perfect. Any of his sport 40 cowels will work.
Here’s how my recent Dave Frank boat turned out with Phil Thomas cowling
