Third large gas boat meant another level to my transporter/storage trolley. Each interlocking "table" lifts off to becomes a work platform and allows me to wheel one, two or three boats down to the water. Can't go any higher without "OVERSIZE" markings and an official escort ! 100_1086.jpg100_1074.jpg

Hmmm ........I could replace the fixed jockey wheel with an electric trailer mover and then add a 12v battery box for power and perhaps design a really heavy duty servo arrangement for steering. Now I just need to work out if I need brakes and then find a seat position for me - you don't go to this much trouble and still walk behind the thing ! :)

Hi Paul - I bought the 4ft fibreglass boat secondhand on Gumtree in Australia and from my online searching I think it was made/sold by Dragon Hobby in China. It seems a popular electric version was initially made available and then some bright spark convinced the company to squeeze in a QJ 26cc petrol engine as a gas model.
It is a pig to work on because the engine takes up so much room and the boat, whilst good fun to have on the water, looks better than it handles. It has taken me some time, some customising and plenty of tinkering to get it about right.
