Just finished building the ZIPP 45GT Outrigger Hydro. What would be a good prop for this boat with a MAC .45 engine?

Start to use ABC 2117-19-38 to 2119-19-38 for good MAC45 it doesn’t like big prop so most use less 55mm Good Luck!

This is a video of our MAC 45 in a boat my dad built quite a few years back. In this video I was running a 2219-19-38 borrowed from a club member. Should work pretty well with a ski.

On the right day when the Air Density is just right the 2219 on the Jae is really fast. But if you heat race you can't depend on this prop as your go to prop. The 2217 will most likely be the most dependable prop for most conditions. Keep in mind the 2219 under the right conditions is a great prop and will be really fast. Stan Simpson ran the 2219 a lot on his JAEs but he spent a lot of time milling around trying to get on the pipe. If your someone like Brian Spritzer or Mr Crapshooter himself, Stu Barr with really light boats to the 2219 will work for you. Also the 2317 will work well on a lot of boats. Thanks Jim Shaffer for a great selection of props that really work.
