I think you would like the M6 nuts. They are post Assembly ones that you can slide in without removing anything.

Shane, I don’t think can you can assemble it “wrong” as long as the plates are flat and equal in height you can set it up to fit just about anything.

You can mount the plates lengthwise as well

With extra stands and plates, could this be adapted to work with mono's too?
Would be nice for setting strut, rudder, trim tabs etc...just thinking outloud...

It's a must have. It can be adjusted to fit every one of my boats and is used like a work surface at races. Super nice piece.
