I seem to recall that someone built a rotisserie style boat stand for painting hulls. I am just about ready to start shooting color on a 1/6 scale monster and I am trying to figure out the best way to set the hull up for painting. Top and bottom will have the same color. Was actually thinking about doing the top and bottom on 2 different days with the hull set out flat, but that would entail a lot of masking and trying to avoid overspray. Appreciate any suggestions tony J

Could make one out of a cheap boat winch trim the bracket on the other side of gear drive so you could bolt a L bracket to get like 350 degree rotation out of it bolt the winch to a tall saw horse then use a bearing block on another saw horse to support other end.You could get a larger boat winch and make the bracket heavy duty to support the hull from one end would have to mount it to some thing heavy.

2K primer coat and white base coats, single spray, top & bottom, hangers, hooked to a chain from the ceiling, rotate, top, bottom, all around, its work for me for 40 years, 60 plus boats.

Rotisserie all the way, well worth the time investment. I’ve attached some photos of my setup.

I repurposed a window bench into a rotisserie. Wasn't selling on marketplace so I gave it new life. Simple construction of pvc, 4 bearing points and used the engine and rudder mount. Nice crank handle for turning the "B".
