John, Your not going to win any discussion with these radical right wing republicans. These are the same radical right wing republicans that about brought down our democracy from the BIG Lie and The BIG RIP OFF. They don't get right from wrong. They just want to ***** and moan. If they would read as much as they ***** they would learn something about what the presidents role is and what he can and can not control.

"John, Your not going to win any discussion with these radical right wing republicans."

Which leaves me wondering why you keep returning like a moth to flame?

This is what I found online about "The Atlantic"
The Atlantic is an American magazine and multi-platform publisher, launched in the year 1857. The initial idea of The Atlantic was to publish articles covering topics such as slavery, educations, and political affairs. By the late 90s, the magazine changed its path and geared towards ‘serious national readers’ and ‘thought leaders’.

The Atlantic calls itself America’s leading destination for brave thinking and bold ideas that matter.

With this mission statement, we can identify the brand persona of The Atlantic as bold, serious, stern, and controlling. These are the personality archetypes of The Ruler.

The Atlantic refers to its readers as ‘affluent and accomplished’ and also as ‘representing a vital audience of the country’s most influential thought leaders.’

The three main aspects which set The Atlantic apart from its competitors are boldness, sophistication, and wittiness.

Humor and satire, politics, and social trends are the three categories mainly seen in their writings.

This gives a rough idea about the targeted age of their audience, which is approximately ranging from 35 to 60 years old.

People who hold strong political opinions, have a great interest in national policies and strive to achieve greater success for the nation as well as the world are some of the targeted audiences.

From their mission statement and detailed analysis, I think that the magazine strives to target industry leaders, those that hold power and have influence.

The last two pictures both show an anti-Trump theme so, with that said, I don't know how much credence I can give this publication.

I understand what you are saying and don't expect to win any discussion. I just have a great respect for our military and what they sacrifice to protect us which Trump lacks. I have the same issue at work where everyone is blaming Biden for things he doesn't control. Like you said they are uneducated on what is and isn't controlled and by whom.

The Atlantic is now about as far left as you could get.........

I used The Atlantic as ONE example. Google "Did Trump criticize the military". There are multiple articles from various sources stating that he has criticized the military. I recall seeing that on the news one evening when he was President. I guess they are ALL wrong and all on the FAR LEFT. My point was only to point out that Trump was not a supporter of the military which is a shame for someone who is our President and reply's on them to protect him and us.

Emotions.. emotions... somebody said something bad... = Democrat

But

A person is killed by somebody that passes through our borders and it just does not carry the same weight, its hidden, ignored, get VERY limited air play.
Lots of nasty drugs from ALL OVER crossing our boarders...
A cop is gun down and its hit and miss reported by the main stream media
A school shooting and guns take the blame
A business man is voted in and the left looses there mind.. BECAUSE HE SAID A "BAD THING"
The first lady is chastised and ignored

I did not hear ONE SINGLE ISSUE on policy when I posted this question.

"can i ask.. cuz I dont understand..

Those that do not support Donald Trump what was it that you did not support or like about him?

Grim"

I just don't understand it.. its confusing to me.. I cannot for the life of me understand the liberal mind.. (I am not calling anybody a bad name or calling anybody in particular out.. ).. I just don't understand.

My recommendation.. my power....... Teach your children and grandchildren well..

AND VOTE!

Be well gang.. LETS RACE!

Grim

Probably most people who post on here would call me a liberal. I hate to rain on their parade but I support a persons right to bear arms, I think welfare is to easily given to those who don't deserve it, lots of people take the right to free speech to extremes but that is their right, news reporting is slanted both ways and much more. When discussing politics with people its amazing how many liberals have some conservative ideas and vice versa. As far as I'm concerned there are 2 kinds of people...open minded or closed minded.

As for the first lady, I think you mean Mrs. Trump. Several posts back, there is a picture of her. I have never chastised her and that dress she is wearing makes her pretty hard to ignore!!

I do vote, its not for the party they represent but for what they think needs fixing and most importantly, how they want to fix it

You kill me! Cover for that pos. I don't see Biden was friends with Jeffery Epstein! You my friend, as most republicans are the ones out of touch with reality. Support a pos that almost took down our democracy and you make excuses and approve of it. Your not Americans!
Trump knew who Epstein was and yes, he's met him several times and admitted that he didn't like him.
I formally joined the Republican party just after Trump announced that he was running for POTUS and worked at the county Republican party office. I also ran for Kalamazoo County Commission.

LMFAO!! Biden is a known pedophile and sexual abuser. You need to put down the KoolAid and do some legitimate research, go learn about what he did to Tara Reade. You are the poster child for the Democrat propaganda machine. I've never seen someone so wacked in the head when it comes to politics. Whatever you are smokin' must be some seriously good schitt! 🤣
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

"You are the poster child for the Democrat propaganda machine." - agreed on that. He wants so bad to degrade the thread into name calling. Then, after losing the name calling battle, pull the classic switch-a-roo to victim and get the thread closed.

How many times have I witnessed that tactic? Many many times. Standard liberal play book, chapter 1 - use of Race Card and/or Victim position when losing an argument.

LMAO!! You and your bro, two ate up peas in a pod. 🤣

What don't I like about Donald Trump?
1. I don't like his calling Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas.
2. I don't like him calling President Biden "Sleepy Joe."
3. Even before he ran for President, I felt he was an arrogant individual.
4. I found his bragging to a reporter about grabbing women between the legs offensive.
5. I don't like Poor Losers and President Trump in my opinion is the Poster Boy for a Poor Looser.
6. I don't like people who look excuses for their failures.
As soon as my morning dose of memory medication kicks in, I could probably remember a number more.

Dunny
exactly!

7. I don’t like the ignorant comments he made about John McCain- (quote): that “he was a war hero because he was captured”. And that "I like people who weren't captured.”(end quote). Calm and casual, with a straight face.

You’d be okay with him making such a statement about your veteran father?

All from a guy (the son of a wealthy father) who avoided the Vietnam draft. And, on more than one occasion, has stated that he really couldn’t imagine why anyone was such a loser or a fool as to give up a few years and even risk their lives to serve in the military when they could surely have avoided.

^^^ Let me try and understand Liberal Logic:

Thread topic - Jan 6th hearings are another politically weaponized democrat schitt show.

Therefore: Donald J. Trump is ignorant because he disliked John McCain.

Put me down as ignorant as I don't care for RINO's either - particularly John McCain (RIP sir) and his lovely daughter.

Try to at least stay on topic - it's tough I know - especially when the Race Card and Victim maneuvers aren't working.

Feel free to make any comparisons to Portland (or pick your own city) during the summer of "Protest" 2020 and the "Jan 6th Insurrection" - with particular focus on timing ahead of the election etc. etc. etc...
