Started on this 1/8 scale project back December 22nd of 2020. First photo is day one, then what it is today vs the real one. Still have a few pieces like the cockpit and the exhaust stacks to install but we will be racing it this weekend in Evansville, In. Thank you is an understatement to a lot people that helped along the way from custom motor mounts, paint, use of wood shop and tools. You guys know who you are and I greatly appreciate it. This is my first from the ground up build and I didn’t leave anything on the table.

Beautiful build Bradley, looks like the real deal. Wish I had some friends to help like yours. Like they say, pretty boats, fast women and more whiskey. Love to see pics of her other water!
Michael
Thank you! She will be getting wet this weekend. Im sure it will be September before I get it really trimmed out.

Trust me, I know the feeling. Between work and the cost of gas, I've been very limited on where I've been able to go. When you figure $5.75 per gallon for gas for the car I primarily drive, it's really expensive to go anywhere.

That’s beautiful Brad. Don’t think I saw it in Cincy. Have you run it yet? Also what paint colors/codes did you use? I’m going to build a ‘79 Circus at some point and I think the same colors would apply.

Thank you, I am still working on the trim of the boat but it is about 80% there. The color code for the main pink is called Pink Panther, these are the color codes my dad got from the Circus Team. Let me know if you need anything else, you can still get circus decals from Dumas, Circus Circus Decal Sheet<----click the link1658153563874.png

Oh man I just thought of a question. The base color is white. Did you use just any white or is there a specific one?
