can i ask.. cuz I dont understand..

Those that do not support Donald Trump what was it that you did not support or like about him?

Grim
I liked it when Trump called himself a "very stable genius" He set the bar so low that even I probably qualify to say the same about myself.

I don't really have a big problem with Trump. My issue is with the people who don't know me or anything about me on this forum assume I don't like Trump, am a left wing wacko and other things like that. In the early 2000's trump was a registered democrat in New York and at that time was floating the idea of running for president and I was a big supporter and would have voted for him. When he ran in 2016, I seriously considered voting for him because he was not a "career politician" The other choice was Hillary and I had been told by a lot of women that if a woman was elected, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in. I went with Hillary, she lost and we got a "non politician". We all have an opinion on how that worked out!!

Before you read this last statement please sit down. If I was allowed to appoint the next President and Vice president I would appoint Condellisa Rice and Collin Powell, Don't care which one is president. They are smart, thoughtful and class people. If they put on MAGA hats, I have no doubts they could and would do it

I may not have answered your question but thats what sets me off on off topic threads. If anyone on here wants to talk to me on the phone for a half hour and learn what I think from me rather that assume what I think, I'm all in. If you still think I'm full of ****, thats fine because at least you will have gotten to know me a little and everyone has a right to think what they want

PS if you doubt the Trump was a democrat, I did a search on google and thats what I got.

Thanks

Well I guess hell's gonna freeze over 'cause Jim and I agree again. I too would have voted for Condoleezza Rice, she absolutely killed it as secretary of state. I did like Colin Powell up until the latter part of his career, he was an outstanding national security advisor but his attitudes and policies changed toward the end in a way I didn't care for. Another one who would have been a great President was Herman Cain, a brilliant businessman, helped develop the Navy's Aegis missile system and authored the 9-9-9 tax plan. The Democrat smear campaign of sexual harassment (later all proved false) made him withdraw his 2012 Presidential bid, I honestly think he would have easily defeated Obama.......

Jim, easy my friend.. I have never thought of you as anything negative.. sorry you feel you need to defend that. (Sad really!) I have never thought of you as full of ****.. those are your words (just to be clear!)

As a design engineer I have spent years perfecting the art of listening to those that have an opinion. (it makes me a better engineer). I also have a hard rule in design. If I dont get an answer to a question that I can understand or work with I am happy to "ask again". I don't have to here.. your clear.

And then..
I also have never asked about trumps choice (or even care) what his past party choice was in the past.. truth is it has ZERO bearing on the question. My Dad was a Democrat too.. but back then (he is gone now) it was not the same as it is today. He would not come close to agreeing with there policy's today.

I have never hammed on Joe Biden.. I have stated that i dont feel he has the faculty to do his job and this comes backed to me by a very important person.. My sister.. she runs a elderly home and she sees his mannerisms.. he is really not well. THIS COMES REGARDLESS of me either liking or not liking the guy and or what policy they have him interjecting.

Lets race!

What don't I like about Donald Trump?
1. I don't like his calling Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas.
2. I don't like him calling President Biden "Sleepy Joe."
3. Even before he ran for President, I felt he was an arrogant individual.
4. I found his bragging to a reporter about grabbing women between the legs offensive.
5. I don't like Poor Losers and President Trump in my opinion is the Poster Boy for a Poor Looser.
6. I don't like people who look excuses for their failures.
As soon as my morning dose of memory medication kicks in, I could probably remember a number more.
Love ya Mike Z.
Dunny
Okay, Dunny, I'm going to respond to you, one number at a time:
  1. I agree, she's not even close
  2. He has fallen asleep at more than one meeting so I could see the merit to it
  3. Very much so, either that or totally over self confident
  4. He's never had a lot of tact so a comment like that could be expected
  5. Hillary Clinton was worse than DT. What was even worse about her is she tried to cheat to win and still lost
  6. Joe has played the "blame game" and had excuses for everything that didn't work since he was sworn in. IMHO, he is more of a poster boy in that than DT could ever be
Please tell me that the memory med is a cup of coffee ;)

Regarding number 5. Hillary may have done everything you said but less that 24 hours after the polls closed, She called Trump and congratulated him on His victory. In addition, President Obama and his staff worked with Trump and his staff to ensure an orderly transition. Trump did neither

The biggest problem this country has right now is it is very divided. Although he is no longer president, if Trump would admit that he lost , perhaps everyone could move on to MAGA. Without using the exact words, Trump is calling a person who took an oath to tell the truth, said Trumps claim of a stolen election was bullshit, a liar. You have said you are not a democrat or a republican but a realist. Its about time Trump became more like you

Jim, Hillary may have conceded but she has never let it go. She has continued to say, for several years, the election was stolen, hence my comment. Personally, I feel there were things done that were, if not illegal, at least questionable in the last two elections.

Fine, so my question is why don't either of them either prove it or shut up. Why is Rudy going to allow himself to be disbarred for making a mockery of the judicial system. Why did Bill Barr lie when he said the big lie was bullshit Tell me Bill Barr lied under oath. You said you are a realist. Prove it.

As I see it, Hillary thought she had the 2016 election in the bag and it had to be stolen for her to lose. If I do some digging, I could probably find a video that shows that she is still claiming she won. IIRC, she did win the popular vote but lost in the Electoral College
In the case of Trump, there is security camera video footage of ballots that were pulled out from under tables and run through the counting machines more than once, AFTER the observers were sent home, to back his claim so there is a legitimate claim of foul play in this case.
As for Rudy, I see it as a railroading. Since I don't know what they are using as evidence against him I really don't know.
Bill Barr was probably saving his own political skin. He knew that, with a democratic Congress, Trump didn't have a prayer of winning any objections against the votes from Arizona, Pennsylvania or a few other states.
In an audit done in Arizona, they have found enough illegal ballots to have possibly overturned the state's results while the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court "illegally" changed the voting laws in that state less than a week before the election, violating the US Constitution. The Constitution clearly states that the STATE LEGISLATURE WILL MAKE THE RULES OF THAT STATE, not the State Supreme Court. The results of the rules change could have overturned the results in Pennsylvania as well.
Now comes the question of all of the court cases over the election. Every one was thrown out due to "lack of standing" or similar reasons where, to put it more bluntly, the courts didn't want to get involved and thereby saved themselves from a possible recall or defeat in the next election. Even the US Supreme Court refused to hear the cases that were put before them, claiming they didn't want to be the court that chose the next President

I think I figured out why you think I said you said I was full of ****. I thought I clearly was referring to the person I talked to on the phone. Starting with the "IF" sentence, It would have been more clear if I had said "If after our phone conversation you still think...

Your sentence that starts "As a design" reminds me of me. I have had many people over the years ask me why I ask so many questions. I ask because I want to know and I ask so I am convinced they believe what they said.

As for lets race I say 30 seconds to the start

Jerry well your number
6. I don't like people who look excuses for their failures. Pretty well covers the last 2 years of Bodybag Biden's presidency doesn't it. He has more excuses than Carters' has pills.

What I don't like about trump; Dunny's list is spot on. I would add I believe DT dodged the military with his "heal spurs". Hard to get over being a Viet Nam vet.
Then in life when people say they "know everything" I tend to walk away fast.
If I was looking for someone to run my finances, I definitely would not take advise from someone who was involved in multiple bankruptcies. That and not paying contractors who did work for him.
How do you go broke in the casino business? And finally, why would you hide your tax records? More excuses.
Trump is a bully and a blowhard and tends to lie a bit. Quite a bit. Rex Tillerson hit it very early "moron".

In the end this big lie is the biggest threat to our democracy ever. Elections are being undermined and that is the base of our democracy. Sure with 150 million voters there are going to be discrepancies, but a very minor percentage. Anecdotal at best, and not one sided. If we don't trust free elections, and the peaceful transfer of power we will crumble.

Then again, what about a "What I did like about Trump" list?
  1. The fact that he wasn't afraid to stand up to anyone when in came to other world leaders
  2. He did what he promised during his election campaign, at least as far as Congress would let him
  3. He supported the military and honored those that were killed in combat areas. That was never more evident than when he had the wife of a veteran come to the State of the Union Address and welcomed her in front of all the members of Congress
Donald Trump isn't perfect, but then again, neither am I. He was, however, a hell of a lot better in the White House than the "bought and paid for" Biden Crime Family

Regarding Rudy, did you look at your statement? You said Rudy is getting railroaded. Then you said you don't know what the evidence is.

I don't understand your point but I'm you can explain it...or at least change the subject so you don't have to.

It's very simple, Jim. If someone is looking to disbar Rudy Giuliani, it probably has something to do with Donald Trump's efforts to show the 2020 election wasn't on the up and up. Therefore, it has to be political in nature and, therefore, a railroad job.
With that said, I don't know what that person or people is/are using for evidence against Rudy Giuliani, to support the disbarment proceedings

But, to take that one step further, is she a "trophy", a "gold digging" or "legitimate" wife? From what I can tell, none of DT's three wives fell into the "gold digging" catagory.
Ivanka was legit, considering she stayed with him for 15 years and they had three kids together, DT Jr, Ivanka and Eric
Marla Maples was wife number two and, just a guess on my part, it was only because she got pregnant with Tiffany. The marriage being two months after Tiffany was born with the marriage lasting only 5 years kind of points to that
It was 7 years later that DT married wife number 3, Melania, in January 2005. They had son, Barron, in March of 2006. I would say she is legit since they have been married for 17 years and, unlike Marla, it wasn't because she had gotten pregnant.

I really feel sorry for the republicans and how the truth is coming out. Trump is and was a pos. You guys got played like a fiddle and went right along with the tune. What kills me is how the conversations always gets diverted to Hillary, Biden and Obama. This is typical republican practices to put blame and take away the true subject at the time of Trump.Trump2.jpg

If you're going to give Donald J. Trump credit for anything, then give him credit where it's really deserved. He took the whining liberal bashing off of both father and son Bush. BTW, whatever happened to Cindy Sheehan?

On the off-topic of lost elections, nothing tops this:

You have said twice that you don't know anything about the Rudy disbarment situation. I'm sure you can find a fox clip about it...go for it
