I dont see why not. Do you have the dimensions of the VS1. I can measure the cowl when I get home. It is plenty deep enough.

Overall length 29". Rear width 2 5/8". That width for 21" from rear of cowl. Last 8" taper to nose. 4.25" height in the rear up to the rear of bubble. Front of bubble is 3.75" and tapers to nose. Bubble is 9" long.

I have a spare Mike Hughes cowling that I will sell for $57 shipped. I also have the original cowling I made from plywood and balsa for my G30. Finished my Hughes cowling weighs 8 ounces. The wood cowling weighs 10 ounces. The finished wood cowling would be $75 shipped. The decals could be removed.
