Ok, just received my new new Gas Mono within the time frame Insane gave to me. I couldnt be happier with the purchase and customer service with the boat was amazing. i unboxed it and it didnt have a scratch on it. i will be starting the build once i get the engine, drivetain and new radio. for now ill build a good boat stand to make it easier to work on.

Yikes ! Double transplant and your back to messing around with boats in 3 months!!
Pretty amazing, and I wish you continued health and healing Sir !!

Nice selection of items there,, 7016/3 seems to be the prop of choice for so many gas mono's....what size motor ?

Well, im not exactly hitting the lake yet but i can make a rc boat order on my laptop in no time flat!!! :) in all seriousness, it was a long-haul getting TO the surgery .. about a year and a half to get it done. Im feeling a lot better and should be wrapping this build up in a relatively short time..

The 7016 3 blade is the best all-around prop for this mono evidently, Brent at Propworks West is great to work with! The engine was from Roger Payne, its a 26 mod. The Hardware is all Insane stuff.. More stuff coming in the mail so stay tuned.

assembled one of these stands today. always funny picking up stuff for plumbing and having to explain to the helpful ace hardware person that its not for plumbing.. "well, it goes in water but not really.. nevermind" :)

Thank you, i will! any tips on glues and methods for attachments would be helpful..
inside the hull i just cut the pool noodles slightly longer and wedge them into place, you should glue the flotation to the hatch, my favorate for years is shoe goo. sold at most hardware stores. i run the retrieve boat at some of our dist races and ask the dead boat driver that i could not find his hatch and the reply was i forgot to add flotation to it. i believe that synergy hatch is about 75$ ?. also you can cut some cooling holes in the hatch to let out some of that pipe heat, stay on the left side away from the carb. these boats are setup with the pipe enclosed and on a hot day you may have some issues with heat. that zenoah likes cold air. good luck with your build
