Anyone have any issues with any of the new Futaba radios. We currently have the 3PM. Thats all we need. It’s a shame the 3PV don’t have the same functions. We plan on updating to the 4PL.

Samuel,

Do you mean 4PM? If so I have never had any issues with mine BUT HAVE had a buddy that had issues.. the only difference was he used "non Futaba servos". There are some "funky" operating issues with some others (I am sorry i am unable to understand the specifics) and if you stick with Futaba you will be good to go.

Thats all fine

Just dont try to get your 3PM repaired

or anything older than you purchased yesterday

Hitec in my future

I have a 3PM that has a busted antenna mount and I’m told parts are no longer available. Fortunately, I own a machine shop where I can make my own.

Man you talk about customer service while attending the Impba Internats in Huntsville my 7pm got knocked off the shelf in my trailer and broke. So I went up to the cd and asked about the service center here in Huntsville he called tony at the service center and he came out to the pond looked over my radio brought the parts back to the pond the next day and fixed it for me

Tony has also fixed numerous other radios. My screen went out, it had to go into the shop to be repaired. Tony brought his radio out, transfered all my models to it and let me barrow it 2 days. He's been here 3 days fixing radios, answering questions and giving away antennas and key fobs. You can't ask for any better customer service that what futaba has given us here at the internats pond.

I am here in Huntsville at the IMPBA Internats. I knocked y transmitter over, cracked the case and snapped the antenna tube. Tony the tech from Futaba took my radio and in 5 mminutes it was fixed at no charge. Really good customer service.

Thanks for all your Futaba knowledge and instructional videos Mike. I have to say that in this day and age of atrocious customer service, it does my heart good to see people like you and Tony supporting a product well and actually going above and beyond. I’ve always used Futaba radios and have never been given a reason to even consider switching brands. The support is the icing on the cake. Well done guys!

I also dropped my new 4pm radio at the nats. Lucky I was able to tape it together. The next day, Tony came out and handed me a new case. He was the Futaba Superstar at the nats this year.
