Chris, you might want to re-visit your antenna, it looks like you have the coax bent over and the cap holding it in place. With the 2.4 system the only part of the wire that is the antenna is the last 3/4” (approximately) that is stripped. It is recommended to keep that part at least 2 inches from any metal or material that conducts electricity. If that end breaks off from bending you won’t have any antenna and will loose signal. Many of us just oust the wire up in a the tube as high as it will go and tape it in place inside the lid so it can’t slide back down. Some also purchase longer antennas from Futaba to allow a higher mast and more flexibility in placing the antenna and having it high enough to be 2 inches away from the pipes or other conductors.

Ok, I have addressed all the little trivial and really unnecessary issues you all pointed out. I now have a much longer Rx antenna (who need radio) I put a turn fin on the boat knowing it’s going to probably slow me down some and I finally put a couple screws on the back although the backs of the blades are nothing but drag. Just Joking lol, I think that she is ready!

With all that done, we did a final dress rehearsal. Now I just need to add water!

Who sells that coil bracket so you can mount it to the pull starter bolts?. Love the sound of your boat . sounds mean.
Also I dont see any water to your pipe orings do they not need water when there is enough air blowing by them ?
