I believe there was a late term IMPBA membership at a reduced rate (Sept-Dec) but I don't see anything on the website. There will also be an IMPBA time trial at Brandon in Dec that could justify joining. I do both every year to cover the bases.

I would like to thank everyone as the entry list is growing for this race. This will be a great race with a very nice raffle. We are looking forward to seeing everyone and some old friends that we have not seen in a long time along with meeting new friends.
Last year we did not have any races as the county had us closed down and this year we are trying to take advantage of having our park back in action. Hopefully we will continue to have races in 2022 as we have already been approved to have our Nitro race in January to be announced on RCRacingevents soon.
I want to thank everyone again and look forward to seeing you soon.

We now have another new sponsor for the list. If you are at the race or talk to, or see any of the sponsors Please Thank Them.

Thanks Again to everyone

Kudos first of all to the Brandon Model Boaters. Couldn’t have done a better job honoring his memory.
Randy Premo was easily one of our crews favorite people to see at a race site. Memories made throughout the years, even before I joined the fold, are talked about at every race. A racer gone far too soon with a very obvious hole left in the world of model boating, especially the tunnel scene.

I had the honor of running his .21 modified tunnel this weekend. Down a few key pieces on the hull, was still able to piece together a 3rd place finish with the help and investment of my brother, Mitch Jr. (also rebuilt two different .45 motors for me, thanks bro!)

Randy’s impact will be felt for the better for years to come, evident in people like my brother who Randy continually pushed to come back with better, faster equipment. While sad, the trophies earned this weekend will forever be some of my favorites as they bear his name.

Wanted to give another shout out to the Premo family. Providing Chick Fil A lunch for all the racers on Saturday. A gesture not necessary but greatly appreciated.
Can’t wait to do it again y’all!

100% Great race to remember our buddy . Had some good times with Randy in Charleston as well as always in Brandon . Many thanks to the Brandon Model boaters for a fun weekend with fantastic weather . Great to see everyone , now to pick up the pieces and thrash for Voodoo in November !

Good times. Great weather and great to see so many I haven’t gotten to see in a cpl years. Hopefully we will get back to normal.
thanks to the Brandon model boat club for their great effort. And especially Ralph Almirola, he didn’t race, he worked his azz off.
And for the 7-8 pit guys I had, thank you very much!!

Running late on this but what a great way to honor Randy....... I had the good fortune to snag a trophy in B Sport tunnel and now that trophy will stay on my workbench so I will remember my buddy and what a great time I had at his race. It was wonderful to see so many of the great folks that make up this hobby...........it felt normal for the first time in a long time!
