Up for sale is this Eagle Twin 67 Rigger. Boat is basically complete, am searching for one of the struts at the moment. Boat has been meticulously refinished using Axalta Base Coat - Clear Coat finishing system by Randy Hicks of the VooDoo Model Boat Club. Boat has never seen water since the refinishing job.

Boat is complete with 2 1/2 sets of extra sponsons, (1) pair is painted to match the boat the remaining (3) sponsons are primer grey ready for paint. The Carbon Fiber dowels and turn fin spigots are included as well for the spares. Included are (3) MAC67 engines as pictured with a pair of AB Parabolic Pipes with headers. All hardware including Props & Drive cables, Servos, SS Fuel Tanks, Remote Needle Valves, Turn Fin, Servos & Linkages come with the boat. Add your Fuel & Water Lines, Battery Pack, Switch & Receiver.

Also included but not pictured is the mold necessary for making the Twin Engine Cowl for this boat. Randy Hicks has this item so it would ship separately.

Price is 2800.00 via Pay Pal F&F + shipping to the US. The package could possibly be delivered to the NAMBA Nationals if you move quickly, my friends are leaving for the race tomorrow. The boat could also be hand delivered to the VooDoo Championship Boat Race in November if you prefer.

Let me know if you have questions or need any additional information.

GREAT looking boat, if I didn’t already have a twin .67 I’d be all over this one! Good deal, and good luck with the sale.

Larry,

To my knowledge Axalta does not have Neon Colors. What you are seeing is the perfection of a Randy Hicks paint job Sir!

The Orange color per Randy is Base Pure Orange applied over a white primer basecoat.

The Yellow - Green color is a current Chevrolet factory color called Shock applied over the same. I saw this color on a Camaro a few months back and called Randy immediately and we made plans to use it on this boat. Randy also painted this on a cowl only for an all wood DE 80 Nitro Rigger I currently have under construction.

The best part I suppose is that these colors unlike Neon's don't fade away over time, especially under sunlight.

Greg,

The best I recall the tub is 40-41" long x 6 3/8" wide or so at the square portion of the tub. The rear wings extend beyond this of course on both sides.

If it’s not too much trouble could you check those measurements, not particularly interested in a 67 twin but need to know it’s measurements to know if it can handle more motor. Would like to see inside the engine bay too.

Thanks.

Greg

Potential Buyers,
Ronnie's boats are immaculate. I have the pleasure of seeing them often and they never disappoint. The attn to detail and care of craftsmanship is noticeable.

Whoever buys this will be a happy camper.

Hi Greg,

The measurements are as stated and the exact tub length is 40 1/2”.

As to the hulls ability to handle extra power I would recommend allowing some of the experts on this site to advise you.

I was told at least that it was a 67/80 Twin Rigger.

Thanks Ronnie, I’ll pass, 91’s would be my preference and trying to squeeze them into the available space can be a chore, 84’s will fit but is old tech and hard to find.

I like your refinish work, best of luck with your sale.

You can fit brand new 67/80 Cmb’s in that boat . You will probably have to move the engines back some and it will not hurt a thing on that boat. Several people have done that over the years. Since this boat has a integrated pipe bracket built in the hull top , tells me it is much newer than the first twins built for Mac 84’s. Get the width of the hull from him because they built them a lot of different widths. You will need at least 6 5/8” wide outside to fit .91 Cmb big blocks in it.
