I think I finally figured out why you guys give me so much crap whenever I post something.

It’s because I have the equipment, and experience to make what I need/want and you guys who constantly bad mouth me, you have to search for someone who makes what you want and hope they’ll sell it to ya.

I have this machine in my garage AND I have the experience to program and run it.

Maybe if you would close your piehole, make some parts and deliver in a timely manner. People would would Praise and recommend you. Look at the people that succeed and get repeat business on these forums, they do exactly that, They have outstanding feedback. I don't post very often but believe me when i say I have been reading this stuff for years. Again it's VERY SIMPLE. Make a deal and deliver in a timely manner and you will be golden.

That’s fine, but I get crap from people who have never bought from me or even tried to buy from me.

when I have parts on the shelf, I will ship either the day they are ordered or the next day, depending what time their order comes in. If I don’t have parts on the shelf, I won’t ask for payment. Orders in by noon, ship same day. After that, they ship next day.

At this point in time , I’ve got nothing to sell.

Steve, every one of your posts lately sound like a broken record... Do you just cut and paste this crap ?

Yeah, great you have a machine.... must feel good to just sit and look at it between the hours of 11-2 because we all know that these are the hours you only work... I bet the ROI must be a killer at 30 grand or so and zero profit coming in to offset it...

I've known some real Machinist's in my life that have a shop full of CNC machines... One guy I know goes in, sets up the tools, changes cutters as needed, feeds new stock into the feeds, pushes the start buttons and picks up the bushels of parts that were cut the night before.

Then he turns out the lights and goes home to package the parts for sale. That's how it's done. If a machine stops,, it pages him.
Totally automated.

I had a small mill and lathe,, nothing fancy, but I found it cheaper and quicker to buy run of the mill parts than to make them myself.. it was more of novelty to have more than anything else... There are so many people out there cranking out copies of boat parts, plus all the China crap, it would be crazy to try to make most of our own parts.

Point is, if you intend to really sell stuff here, make some parts that work,, that people want,, at a decent price,, of good quality,, in stock,, and ship in a timely manner. Stay out in the shop making parts.
Find someone to handle the books and selling side for you. This is how you conduct business.

Not by coming on a forum and endlessly complaining about the same thing over and over hoping to gain some sympathy for your bad business decisions. This is why you get ridden here and are not taken seriously.

No one cares that you have an expensive machine sitting idle in your shop.
With your attitude and past history, it's no wonder you have no customers.

So why are you on here puffing your chest?
Make some stuff with that really nice, expensive machine,
Take pictures of it and start selling!

I would love to take some pictures, but I gotta make something to take pictures of first.

If I had paid $30,000 plus for my machine, I would probably had it running a long time ago, but I didn’t pay $30,000 plus. I paid just a little over $14,500 for it, “BRAND NEW”. Granted it’s not as fast or as powerful as the high dollar machines, they have a minimum of 15 horsepower, my machine has 1.5, those bigger machines, some of them will move point to point at up to 2500 inches per minute, mine moves at 90 inches per minute, some of those $30,000 machines have as much as a 15,000 RPM spindle, mine has 5,000.

I can do anything on my machine that can be done on one of those high dollar machines, it’s just gonna take me a little longer. My little machine is just as accurate as those machines, I just can’t push it as hard.

Those other machines will machines will turn a 3/4 inch end mill and take a full width cut, 1.000 deep, 10,000 RPM and feed at 75 inches per minute. My machine will turn a 3/8 end mill, 1/8 inch deep, 1/2 the diameter of the end mill at 30 inches per minute.

Like I said, I can do anything on my machine that you can do on those high dollar machines, it’s just gonna take me a little longer.

I’m not gonna estimate when I’ll have stuff done, but, I promise you, it is coming. I’ll probably make stingers first, then God only knows what’s next.

If I had a machine like that setting in my garage you bet your sweet ass it would be making money and not setting idle.

That’s about a week away from happening. I haven’t made any parts since May 2019. It’s time to reopen Mid Day Machining.

The best advice I could give you here are my famous words, "Don't talk about it, be about it.." I can't wait for the day I open up IW and see you are producing products that you have a passion for and a product you take pride in. Until then I will sit in silence and wait. Go make some chips.

Then why did you charge cc and not ship for close to 2 years yet sent out to others.

Yeah, I did that and I ended up issuing you a refund that was handled by Dom Mauro, then I sent to 10 stinger drives as an apology for what I had done to you.
