I have a 3.5 Vision where the nose starts bouncing up and down later in the straightaway. I have tried other props, but it still bounces up and down. As a result, I have to let up on the throttle loosing to keep it from blowing over.

I have tried putting weight in the nose, lowering the motor, kicking the motor in and it still seems to bounce. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks
Dan

I would personally never sand the bottom of a Vision to flatten it...

But if it does not sit level on a flat setup board...then there is something wrong and needs to be addressed.

You have not stated a few things:

Has it only just started doing this, or has it always done this?

What motor/lower unit are you using?

What is you current setup? ie prop centerline/angle

what is your current CoG?

What props have you tried?

I did find I had a little rocker which I painted and sanded down which took some of the teeter tottering out. I also raised the motor which the attitude of the boat looks good with no teeter tottering.

The next step, I'm going to take some weight off the nose and mid section keeping my COG where it's at and hopefully gain some speed!

Thanks for the help!
