I wonder that what size and who make brass ? Look for heavy duty connection for Lipo battery to ESC

I personally run the 5.5mm plugs from offshoreelectrics.com ...but a lot of people run the larger 6.5 or 8mm plugs.

The best answer is what is readily available and consistent. The 5.5's from OSE are pretty good and should be available for a long time. The Castle 6.5's and 8's are also consistent. When you get to high current stuff, the Lehner 6mm are the best but are killer on the fingers.

Assuming you get more into FE you will want to stick with a single brand and common size. I had had to change over 100 connectors two times when sizes stopped being produced.

In first time I installed hardware kit and ESC 200 Amp with wiring harness also Jerry installed glue for SSS motor with mount rails. I read namba rule book for FE boats but no rule for jump loop. I feel better safety put safe loop because never know in happen hurt to pitman pick up and stuck fail RX or ESC or Buzz. What do you think my new mono ?

I wonder that where is good price for Lipo 4S ? And what do you tell to explain “ C “ 25 low to 70 high?

As for "C" ratings, no industry standards and a lot of hype and over rating. Basic analogy for "C", if you have a 5 gal bucket full on water and drill a 1/2inch hole in it it will drain. Drill a 1 inch hole and it drains faster. The size if the hole is like C rating; larger hole larger rating. Energy transferred.
Many opinions on price and best performance. Buy quality and try to buy the same brand and ratings so you can replace batts that you mix series and parallel or just expand your inventory.
I like Roaring Top (look at records)

Hi Mic. What kind of charger watts AC/DC did you suggest? where do you know good price ? Let me know thanks

Allan, you need to remove the 4mm banana jack as your disconnect system. Those plugs are designed for 20A, not 100A. Guaranteed something more expensive will fail if you use it. That's also a carbon hull and unless that bulkhead connector is insulated well you run more risk of a mild short. Remove it and seal up the holes. Just run the normal plugs and only plug in the batteries when you are ready to tape up and run.

Allan.
I don't think I ever charge above 6 amps. Never over 8amps so my watt requirements are not high. I have had and use Hyperion Hitec IMAX and ISDT equipment with success. DC or AC DC your call. ACDC usually won't do high amps but under 10amps is not a problem for me. ACDC are nice for home or field. DC requires a power supply but can use 12v batts under your hood. For a couple boats my truck will get me through a race. Bear in mind 4-6 5000ma 6S packs can drain an auto battery. So keep the car running a bit. Does it cost more to bring a gas generator or pay a couple bucks in fuel to idle your car?
My favorite inexpensive field charger is the ISDT Q6 + and ISDT Q6 mini. 300 & 200W $40-$60. The feature I like is they take input voltage from 10-30v which means you can refocus energy from 3-6S packs. Got a full charged 6S battery and need to charge a 4S pack.
