Yeah.. I've looked through that boat instructions and design. I think it's good and I believe I can build a real nice boat with it. Stock 260pum is not so expensive,.. and it should run mid 50's pretty easily I think. and honestly,. that's pretty darn fast with a boat that big..

I'm sure it will be fast. JAE style gas boat,.. it will for sure be fast. I spent years building boats and obsessing over weight, aero and hydro dynamics, props.. I don't want to do that anymore. I want one that goes fast, floats on air down the straights,. tends to be reliable and isn't too awfully expensive.. that zipp thunder boat is sold out or I would order one today I think.

That's funny.. I just called them,.. she said they are short the turn fin or something.. He's going to call me later.. maybe I get one and wait on the turn fin.. won't be needing that for a long time.

I live in Nashville now.. honestly I could almost run year round if I really wanted to.. cold air is dense.. makes for fast boats.. and slow fingers!

Well its about 35 here and raining, but mother nature not wanting to be outdone decided we are getting snow again tomorrow and Wednesday, giving me another solid 4 months of build time!
