Martin just ran a 136.861 pass with his 45 boat making it the fastest nitro boat in the world! Congrats buddy!!

GQ

Incredible what he's doing to the record book, gives us mere mortals something to shoot for!

I saw Huntsville was below sea level this morning with no wind and was wondering if anyone was ready, evidently so! :)

It was great just to be there and watch Martins boats run and to hear those motors screaming!!

Good to see you again Tommy. Its just a fun place to be when your watching boats go over 100 MPH

Thanks to everyone who made the trip and participated. And thanks to everyone who helped put the event on. Without your devotion to the hobby we would all be bench racing.
Thanks to Roger and Bob for providing lunch on Saturday

See you all next April

Great to see and talk to you Mike-I wasn't feeling very good but I didn't want to miss this TT's. Nothing like watching a nitro boat make 136+mph runs. Videos are okay but there is nothing like seeing it and hearing it in real time --WOW!!!! Hope to see you at the next TT's.

If you want to run in the NAMBA and/or IMPBA time trials, you will need current membership cards and numbers.

We have been using the dual association TT's for quite awhile now.
This year the NAMBA dates are 26-27 Nov and the IMPBA dates are 28-29 Nov 21.

As far as getting signed up for the IMPBA dates, we make a sign up sheet from the guys that are present and that sets the run order. NO other paperwork is required. Normally the District 5 events are listed on: RC Events Schedule | Www.nambadistrict5.com, but I don't see it on the current calendar.

Any other questions you can call me at 256-656-0859 or my e-mail is [email protected]

The experts we have contacted concerning the Milfoil in the pond have assured us that it will lay down with the colder weather. I have been watching and the pond is less obstructed today then it was two weeks ago. We have about two weeks until the Turkey TT. The low temps for Saturday-Monday are just above freezing. Our bird bath was frozen twice this week.
I feel confident the weeds are going to be gone for the TT. We are proceeding as originally planned. 26-27 Nov 21 NAMBA, 28-29 Nov 21 IMPBA.
Hope to see you at the pond. Dress warm as it has been colder than normal this month.
