This is a pic of a boat that I recently bought at a swap shop. It is made from ABS plastic and is 29 1/2" long. The beam is 15". I believe it is for a K&B 7.5 OB but it had a K&B 3.5 on the transom. I woullike to know wno made the boat, what it is and whether a 3.5 is the right engine for it. Also if someone is interested in it I would be willing to sell it for a reasonable price. Thanks, Les

Hello based on the pictures that looks to be a late production or post MRP mach series boat. A man by the name of Bob Welch who designed boats for MRP bought out the nitro series line of boats and continued making them for a while with a few design changes I had a few of these way back when cool looking tunnels . The ones that Ray and Marty are speaking of are earlier versions as I had one of them to when I was a youngster. Hope this helps happy boating.

Mark was it designed for a 7.5??
Thanks John

Hello John yes as far as I remember the ones I had were 7.5 and if memory serves me right they were about the same dimensions as the one Les has pictured here.

The MRP Mach1 was the 3.5 tunnel and the MRP Mach2 was the 7.5 tunnel hull. I had both of them!

Hope this helps.

Thanks to everyone for the help. It is definitely a Mach II. Is anyone interested in this boat? I don't own a 7.5 and would like to sell it. I'm willing to sell for a reasonable offer. Thanks again. Les
