Chris, the Hopper Silver Bullet pipes are available. Otherwise, that’s pretty much it unless you find something used

I have not tested car pipes...but only guys in europe amd japan use car pipes. They tend to run on smaller course size and need/want the down low over top end.

Pretty sure there are some VERY fast 20 boats using car pipes in Japan at least!

Im running an OFNA pipe....and like it

I like the car pipes but always thought that they were designed for torque and not really for rpm.

Are many guys running the Novarossi car pipe?
I am running car pipes, pulling 41500 rpm. You will need to shorten the header, and go for the conical headers.
either you rebuild an onroad header, or you pick up this one from Hipex: http://www.hipex.it/en/products/manifolds/marine/product/view/17/28
Even that one can be shortened a little.
Remember the marine engines are mostly based on the onroad engines.
I`m running OS Speed R2103 car engine, and it works great.

Joern,

What size of propellers are you pulling at 41,500 rpm?
Not many motors pulling that many rpm fully loaded.
The O.S. motors are really nice inside.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Mark, we are pulling very small props, like Octura Y537/3 and X440/3
Also we are running 25% nitro, and geared. Thats how I can use the car engines for outboard without modification.
Yes, I just love those OS engines.
Today I got a delivery of the new R2104 engines. Looking forward to see if there is any increase in power compared to the R2103.

I have os21xm v2 What outboard pipe i can use with the engine ? Where i can buy gold proposta for this engine i use the lynx tunnel

The stk exhaust works just as good. But I have some Irwin, Equi & carbon pipes available. Can post pictures later.

Hello Daniele,

Most any outboard pipe can be used on the OS power head.. BUT.. truth be told you have to go deep into the motor and make changes to take advantage of a pipe. In particular the rotor timing is not optimized for a pipe.

I do not run a pipe on my OS outboard for this reason.

As for props.. I would start with an Octura X440 and then keep asking the others on here. I am sure you will find a Lynx cut prop.

Keep us posted..

Where i can buy good props for this engine ? I use the lynx tunnel
Felix,
You should have been sent the instructions for your Lynx when you bought it. The instructions has all the prop information you need plus where to purchase them. If you did not get these instructions sent to you by the seller, please let me know.

Thanks,
One of the others...The guy who designed the Lynx.

What other options are out there in the way of a tune pipe for a new Novarossi 3.5 O/B other then the carbon fiber route?

Thanks
Chris
The SPP pipe that Nova Rossi Marine has on the site is one of if not the best pipe out there. The carbon pipes are really fast. There is a new manufacturer of carbon pipes here in the USA called Echo-Pro. They are not in full production yet but you will probably see their products get pushed out by the first of the year.

Can you send me the link to the site of that manufacturer?
I cant find it.
Thanks, Carl.
P.S.:
I suppose you continue with the Lynks tunnels ... beautiful, fast and very competitive ... in the year 2020, maybe, I'll get one of them.
That is my desire ...

The web site for those items has not been finished. It will be January before you will see it. Write me at [email protected] and I will help you with what you need.
