My buddy has a ul-19 he just bought...first outing on 6s the boat ran for about 5 mins and completely lost power... no esc or rx response at all.. all solder joints and wires are ok... I have not had a in depth look at it yet but almost sounds like a cap failure to me..

Anyone had any esc issues?
 
take the shrink wrap off at the motor ...they do un solider them selfs...they still may be soildered a bit but not enough . check speed control wires ...it says on box 6 s but it runs better on 4s...sometimes 5s but do not hold at full throddle ... likes to melt solider joints .

Sorry for the delay in response, I've been neglecting to come into the rtr section of the forum... I thank you for your reply.. you hit the nail on the head sir, but it was an issue with the solder joint at the cap board... all I can think is the solder joint was not well from the factory... i soldered it back together and he hasnt had an issue since .. again i thank you for your reply sir...
