544 is plenty sufficient, but, if you can handle machining it, AMPCO 18 or 25 (preferably) would be better.

I always used the 660 bronze when bushing the early Picco drum rotor housings in my .45's. Never wore one out. I'm sure there is better material out there, though.

Thanks Dick.. that is what I am going to use. Trying to rebush some old antique OS 91 drums. If 660 worked then it should work now.
