Doc.. then why would we not use this on all of our boats..? Regardless of size and speed.. I have seen 20 monos make it 40' on shore.. i have seen Scale boats do the same..

I am not busting anybody on this.. I just am not sure the logic works anymore with 2.4 and surface mount components.

I just recently had a boat loose radio due to a bad receiver battery. It was hard to decide what went wrong since everything seemed to work on shore. The actual radios are a lot better, but batteries, connectors, and switches are the weak point. I had vibration turn off a switch years ago in a very fast gas cat. I think there's still some plywood embedded in the tree it hit after jumping the 4 foot pond bank. Where computer controls are involved in aircraft usually there are redundant systems. Where there aren't, people die as Boeing found out.

One of the benefits of model boating is, you get to be the financier, the driver, the crew chief and the BUILDER. There are many ways to arrive at a same point.
Do you know why fishing lures come in so many colors???? It’s for the anglers confidence more then it is for the fish. So stick to ways your confident in and you’ll have more success.

There’s more than one way to remove the epidermis of the feline creature! Just make sure you end up in the right place using solid information and not just hearsay!
