Here's a pic of an old SK-40, this set-up was surprisingly fast for an older design, an X457 prop worked really well. The standard wedge rudder didn't work as well as the Dumas design.SK40 Package 007.JPG

cool! What engine did you run? Interesting that you found the wedge rudder to not function as well as the Dumas (simple flat rudder)?

Looks like you did good job constructing hull (nice and flat lines), would love to see a top view, and a bottom view.

Also, I think the SK-60 is better balanced using a current .45 engine. These boats were designed for old .60 engines

I believe the Dumas rudder worked better due to more surface area at the bottom.
