Last race in Ellensburg WA. Had 6 gassers show up, we ran 3 boat heats. This heat 1 boat died on the launch so it was Jim in the Atlas (Blue Blaster) and myself in the 65 Bardahl. Fun race.

 
Having been a turn judge for all but two heats last weekend, I can easily say there was some outstanding driving and plenty of deck to deck racing. I'd also like to give a shout out to Kirk Maupin. He was originally the winner of the nitro final but, calling a buoy penalty that was missed on himself, dropped to 4th place. How often does that happen, giving up a win to play by the rules?
