Game Changers or Change of Life Props

Some call them Game Changers I like to call them Change of life props. That might be because they are so awesome that they will change your boating life or maybe you need to wait until your old enough to afford them in the later stages of your life. Whatever way you think of it, it is always a good day when a box of new weapons arrive in the mail! Woooohooo, time to get testing and go stupid fast!

I have a **** load my self. There’s (2) props in each bin. I have (2) bins full. That’s just my Twin props.

Last year the wife got too curious about how many motors I have, today while admiring my new prop haul she asked, how much do you have invested in props, I took a big gulp of air and played dumb, don’t know babe, have never added it up, she and the rest of the family laughed and said, I bet Dad, you probably know right to the penny, I played it safe and shrugged my shoulders and left the room, thankful I got outta their unscathed! Whew, bullet dodged.

Boaters,

R/C boating is not a cheap hobby, but plenty of other hobbies are even more
expensive. The main thing is too have fun and enjoy the hobby. Greg and Julian
nice collections by the way.

This hobby is much cheaper if you build your own stuff. Buy the raw material and get back to OG modeling days. I did spend a little bit of money on some props from Brian Buaas this year. But I also did a bunch myself. Still have a box left to do. Building props is the thing I hate the most with this hobby. So teadious.

Have spent countless hours S&B’g props but am so thankful for the masters like Andy, Mark, Eric and a few others who have taken up the task of creating these fine pieces of jewelry, not to mention they flat out work like a charm! A saying from my sledding days, it’s all in the clutching, props are our clutches, all the power in the world is meaningless unless you can get it to the ground or in our case water.

Love my collection and have a blast finding the magic one that shreds the boys!

I had a mono that WAS a hooker, but I straightened her out.
My wife is just glad when I go away for the weekend, or even just the day. 43 years of marriage and it's the best "alone time" either of us gets.
