I had lost my mentor of 35 years who taught me how to and what to. His widow had no use for all his boats and guess I had to step up and buy them all from her. Now I have another 25+ boats quite a few engines lots new and several used and some I have no idea. My problems now are to identify what they are and if they are good for modern boats. Can you all give me heads up on what some of the things are?

If you can't find a good use for them, I can!!!
Just kidding, but not really, they aren't the "latest & greatest" but still real good engines.
If you happen to have some CMB 21 Valvola Red Heads I'd like to talk to ya

Per rules I cant sell, at least yet. Not enough messages and or I haven't been on the site long enough to sell anything. How about this? Have other boxes I haven't opened yet. There should be several hundred props in here somewhere.

The black head Rossi’s are older engines. Not especially competitive today.
The Blue Head CMB VAC’s from the first pictures are within 5 years old, still very strong motors and still very competitive.
The Novarossi .67 is the newest design, although you may want to check with Ron Shaw with Novarossi USA and make sure it has the updated Rod in it.
The Novarossi .21 is that engine lines hot 20 engine at the moment.

You stumbled upon a very, very good collection of engines it seems. If you have any questions me or some of the other guys on here can help you sort out props pipes and engines!

Just so many questions as the last engines I worked with were ops.45 and a .21 p5 Picco. This is adding to my learning curve!

Big engine with a quick change insert. P90 good for a 50" deep v?
Possibly as a play boat? I’m not extremely familiar with Monos, but I believe the gas monos themselves are in the 50-52 range.
A 90 mono is typically around 45 inches, so the 50 inch would be a tad big for racing.

The Rossi .40’s are also some older engines, my dad runs their outboard engine. Not the latest and greatest, but fun nonetheless.
Two more great .21 engines. Looks like a 35Plus21, which is just won the heat racing national championship at the internats with! The Second looks to be a keep .21, essentially a wrap around exhaust version of the direct drive from earlier. Both highly competitive.
The Rossi .91 is again an older motor, not too familiar with those.

The blue head engine from earlier looks like an older Novarossi? Those slide barrel carbs are a struggle to setup in a boat, although technically they are a superior carb design. I have seen people run them.
