Just getting interested in electric boats recently. The ul 19 looks bad ass. It might be as fast or faster than my whip 20.

I may be buying the uL 19. awesome boat!! and for the price I would pay for a nitro motor by its self less batteries and ESC

I have used a deep cycle trolling motor battery to charge lipos off of. Charged lots of batteries all day off of one. I typically run 4 to 6 classes and get away with it.

If your looking for something a little bigger that can handle the chop then the sonicwake is a great boat. it's also self righting which makes retrieval much easier.

The Traxxas Brushless Catamaran is a beast! It can get up to 50 mph with 6s lipos. Here are some more options as well. But I would go with the Traxxas.
