I just got off the phone with Gary. He is in a hospital in Elmhurst, IL. He said he slipped on a throw rug in his living room and fell hard. He was able to call his neighbor who took him to the hospital. Gary said it happened yesterday, Friday the 24th. Gary might be a bit confused regarding the day it took place. He said they have been doing a bunch of tests. Gary thought they might release him to return home this coming Monday afternoon, but that isn't for sure. He sounded normal during our conversation. He tried to sell me a few items I don't need at this time. He mentioned he had 5 or 6 pending orders at his house that he would get sent out as soon as he was released. He would enjoy talking to his model boating friends. The direct phone number into his room is: 331-221-1206.

I talked to David Preusse and this isn't the series of events I was told transpired.....
We will just wait and see were it all shakes out....
Gary appears to be OK......

I talked to Gary's daughter, Debbie, this evening. She said Gary did experience a slight heart attack last Friday. He underwent an angioplasty procedure on Friday, but one of the blockages wasn't opened. Debbie said another attempt to clear the blockage will be sometime on Tuesday. I talked briefly with Gary after talking to Debbie and he said he was feeling fine and looking forward to going home.

Thanks for the info Jerry. Good to hear he's feeling better.

Thanks for the information on Gary
He is in my prayers to get better soon

Debbie sent me a text around 2:00 CST saying they were able to get the second stint inserted. However, they had to drill the artery out before the stint would pass. Debbie said it was very close to being a "widow maker" situation. I will continue to pass along information as I receive it.

I just got off the phone with Gary. He is at his house in Oakbrook Terrace and taking nourishment and orders for model boating supplies. Actually, in the reverse order of that last sentence.:) He says he's feeling fine and certainly sounded healthy.

It's been a while for me as well...a long while... Gary is awsome and always helped me out...I'm glad to hear he is doing well jerry...

Talked to Gary tonight, he's doing well and shipping orders.

Said they put a stent in him and he should be fine, as he always says: "I'm still on this side of the sod"...
