Did anyone notice how they photoshopped the Pay'N Pak name off the deck and made it straight stripes? I guess T-Mobile didn't want anyone to see the name of another business, even one that's no longer around, to be seen in their commercial. It does seem kind of silly, to me anyway, since anyone that watched hydroplane racing during the 70s would probably recognize the boat anyway

The big difference between the videos is that the frog's ride(as cute as it is) was all CG, at least until the boat went screaming by. The Pak was all real, other than the hand throttle that was added as a prop. I'm guessing that it was easier(not to mention safer for the engine, which was actually running with the drive shaft disconnected) to show a hand slamming the throttle handle forward than it would be to show the actual throttle pedal being pushed to the floor.

I am a lot of fun to be around. Since you don't(and probably won't) know me, you'll just have to take my word for it.
